I graduated from the Advanced Athletic Therapy program at Mount Royal University in 2009, after completing a degree in Physical Education from the University of Alberta in 2008. In 2010 I received my CAT(c) (Certified Athletic Therapist) Certification, and since then have worked in various job settings. Most recently I have completed my Certificate in Massage Therapy from the Alberta College of Massage Therapy. I will utilize these skills to ensure a well rounded approach is taken while completing assessments and treatments in my practice.
For the last ten years I have worked with sports teams, primarily football, soccer, and rugby aiding athletes with acute injury care and recovery for return to play. Also, I was engaged in a gym and fitness studio setting, working as a fitness coach where I helped develop programs for individuals to enhance strength and mobility.
I believe that the body should move with ease and be pain free.
