Myofascial Cupping Massage
Book Myofascial Cupping

As the name implies, this is the practice of placing slightly heated cups on your skin to stimulate blood flow and promote healing. The cups are typically made of glass, although other materials can be used. The practitioner will quickly pass a flame into the cup; just long enough to heat the air within, and then place the cup, open face down, on your body. As the air within the cup cools, it creates a vacuum which pulls your flesh up and inside. The procedure leaves a painless, circular mark which disappears in a few days, whereupon you can return for another treatment. Learn more about Myofascial Cupping Massage
