At Athlete’s Choice Massage, our policies help our clinics run smoothly and maintain the high level of care our clients count on. Please review and follow the guidelines below to ensure the best experience for everyone.
To confirm your booking, we require a valid credit card on file. Your card information is stored securely and may be used in the following situations:
At the request of the client to conveniently cover service fees.
A late cancellation (less than 24 hours’ notice).
A missed appointment (“no-show”).
Payment of any outstanding balances for services already rendered.
Payment for your treatment may still be made at the time of your appointment by your preferred method. The credit card on file acts as a guarantee for your booking and will only be charged in accordance with the policies outlined above.
We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
This allows us to offer the time to another client who may be in need of treatment.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a cancellation fee up to 50% of the scheduled service fee.
Missed appointments (“no-shows”) will also be charged a fee up to 50% of the scheduled service fee.
We understand that emergencies and sudden illness can occur. Please contact us as soon as possible, and we will assess each situation to determine the best course of action.
This policy is in place to protect the time and livelihood of our therapists, while also respecting other clients who need access to care.
We value punctuality to ensure every client receives the full benefit of their session.
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to respect the next client’s appointment.
The full service fee will still apply.
We are pleased to offer direct billing with many insurance providers. Please note:
Clients are responsible for understanding their individual policy coverage.
A valid method of payment is required on file for any unpaid balances if a claim is declined or partially covered.
Please note that cancellations resulting from an inability to process insurance claims fall under our 24-hour cancellation policy and are subject to the applicable fee.
Your health and safety—and that of our therapists—are our top priority.
All clients are required to complete a waiver form with details on their health history to ensure safe and personalized care.
Please reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell, contagious, or experiencing symptoms of illness.
Our therapists reserve the right to stop or refuse treatment if they feel it is unsafe, inappropriate, or outside their scope of practice.
We welcome clients of all ages.
For clients under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the online waiver.
A parent or guardian may be required to remain in the treatment room during the session.
Gift cards and prepaid packages are available for purchase.
They are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Expiry terms, where applicable, will be clearly noted at the time of purchase.
All prepaid services, gift cards, and packages are non-refundable.
Prepaid services may be transferable to another client if approved by the clinic.
We accept debit, credit, direct billing (when applicable), and e-transfer as forms of payment.

Athlete’s Choice Massage is a professional therapeutic environment. We have a zero-tolerance policy for:
Harassment, sexual advances, or inappropriate behavior.
Disrespect toward staff or other clients.
Any violation will result in immediate termination of services.
Our healthcare practitioners are trained and licensed professionals.
All treatments are strictly therapeutic and non-sexual.
Massage therapy is not a replacement for medical care; please consult your physician for diagnosis or treatment of medical conditions.

We ask all clients to arrive on time, prepared for their sessions. Our therapists are committed to providing you with safe, professional, and therapeutic care. In return, we expect respectful and considerate behavior toward our staff and other clients.
