12K Trail Run

Challenge yourself with this exciting 12K course, featuring a mix of 50% technical single-track trails and 50% rolling Nordic track. Expect approximately 350m of elevation change for a rewarding adventure.

6K Trail Run/Walk

Enjoy a scenic 6K trail composed entirely of rolling Nordic track, perfect for those seeking a moderate challenge.

3K Trail Run/Walk

This 3K course is flat and follows double-wide trails, making it accessible to participants of all ages and abilities.

1.2K Kids Fun Run

A short, flat loop through a treed area designed for younger participants to enjoy the outdoors.

Location: Chickakoo Lake Recreation Area, Parkland County

This professionally organized and timed trail race is designed to be inclusive and family-friendly, welcoming runners and walkers of all skill levels.

Event Amenities and Important Information

Aid Stations:

• Start/Finish aid station available
• Additional aid stations located along the course

Food & Refreshments:

• Hot dogs and chips will be available for purchase at the Start/Finish area

Important Notes:

• Be prepared for changing weather and trail conditions on race day
• Outhouses will be onsite for participants’ convenience
• Restrictions:
  • No dogs allowed on the race course
  • No strollers or baby joggers permitted on the 12K course
• Please note that the park will remain open to the general public during the event
