River’s Edge Ultra Marathon 2025

Racers and volunteers must register before August 15, 2025 to get this year’s free swag. We have not decided what swag item we will offer, but in case it is our much-loved t-shirts you will be asekd to choose your size.

Come join us for an incredible day of running, scrambling, jumping, crawling, laughing and plain old socializing at our incredible single track trails in the amazing North Saskatchewan River Valley in Parkland County, Alberta. Amazing river valley vistas, beaver dams, river crossings, steep inclines and declines, all kinds of critters and natural beauty.

We have structured our “Running Series” in a progressive manner so if you are new to the ultra scene you can start off with the 12km or 21km distance to get a taste of what you can expect when participating in a full blown ultra. You can also enter the 50km, 80km, 100km or 100 mile solo distances.  And, don’t forget your kids as we have a 3km and 5km fun run for them too!

Each of the 6 race distances (12km, 21km, 50km, 80km, 100km, 100 mile) involve loops ranging from 9 km to 20 km that all return to the Start/Finish area.
