DEFINITION – What does Fitness mean?
Fitness is, generally speaking, the state of having the physical and/or mental capacity to perform a task or grasp a concept with minimal effort. Except in those cases where the speaker is referring to mental aptitude, the term is most often used to refer to ‘physical fitness’, an all-encompassing term that captures everything someone does in the pursuit of a healthy body.
It’s not about running fast or being able to live a certain amount of weight. Someone who is fit has little to no difficulty keeping up with the rest of the pack.
Everyone wants to have a great level of fitness. And from a general standpoint, it’s relatively simple. You need to eat well, get lots of exercise, and also get lots of rest. Provided you aren’t working or living in a dangerous environment, doing those three things every day will make you a fit person.
