2024 Canmore Canada Cup Mountain Bike Race

ANMBRA is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to advancing the mountain bike racing community by hosting diverse events. They create opportunities for riders of all levels, from beginners to those competing at an international standard. Given that cross-country mountain biking is an Olympic sport, the provision of racing opportunities is crucial. These events are not only platforms for athletes to enhance their racing skills but also serve as avenues to accumulate points for international competition, secure funding, and attract sponsorships, all of which contribute to elevating the stature of Canadian Cycling.

This year, ANMBRA is set to organize the 7th annual Canada Cup event at Canmore’s Nordic Centre, renowned for its superb amenities and challenging terrain. Over 300 athletes from Canada, the USA, and other countries are expected to compete. Four-time National Champion Peter Disera endorses the event, praising Canmore for its high-caliber races, easy access for international and domestic athletes via nearby YYC, and its unique moderate altitude challenges that set it apart in Canada’s XCO circuit.
