The Iron Legs Trail Races, featuring 20km, 60km, 50-mile, 100km distances, and a relay option, take place near Bragg Creek in Kananaskis Country, Alberta.
- 20km: This out-and-back race from Station Flats to Allan Bill may be shorter, but it packs a punch with significant elevation gain and plenty of single-track trails. Starting at 9:30 PM, runners will face the added challenge of navigating the course in the dark.
- 60km: This course takes runners up onto a ridge, loops through a scenic valley, and returns over the ridge to the finish. With stunning views of the Canadian Rockies and a mix of technical single-track, it promises to challenge and inspire.
- 50-mile: This trail includes an ascent onto Moose Mountain, offering breathtaking views and thrilling single-track trails. The course features a combination of fire roads and technical sections with significant elevation changes.
- 100km: Following the 50-mile course for the first 75km, the 100km route diverges onto a stunning single-track section with additional climbs and technical challenges, making it a true test of endurance.
- Relay Option: The 50-mile distance can also be tackled by a team of 2 or 3 runners, making it a perfect choice for those looking to share the adventure.
