As the name implies, this treatment utilizes cups on the skin to address deeper myofascial tissue, stimulate blood flow, and promote healing. There are three different types of cups that may be used: silicone cups, plastic pump cups, and glass fire cups. The practitioner will begin with standard massage techniques to palpate and assess where the cups will be best utilized. The cups may be used both in a static or a dynamic manner meaning they may be placed in one location and left for several minutes or they may be moved along the skin to break down tissues through an area of tension or adhesion. The cups create a vacuum that pulls your flesh and the procedure can leave a painless, circular mark that disappears in a few days, whereupon you can return for another treatment as required.

A regular regimen of massage therapy promotes overall well-being and can help eliminate the painful aspects of pregnancy. By reducing stress on load-bearing joints caused by the added weight of the baby, massage can foster the flow of blood and lymphatic fluid, in turn eliminating toxins from the body and helping to loosen tensed muscles.

Women can begin massage therapy at any point in their pregnancy. There is an increased risk for miscarriage associated with the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Please note that you confirm you understand this and are providing consent when you book.

Our therapists will use a technique called Myofascial Release (MFR) which is a form of massage that involves the application of sustained compression over trigger points in your face. The procedure can help with irritation, pain, stiffness or tenderness in your jaw area, difficulty eating or talking, earaches, hearing problems, or dizziness. Your therapist will work with gloved hands on the inside and outside of your mouth to access your TMJ and release the inner workings of the jaw. If this is your first treatment please book a 60-minute appointment.

A Therapeutic Foot Massage can help with your sore, achy feet, and lower limbs. It is extremely beneficial if you have been diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis. Plantar fasciitis is normally the result of repetitive strain, affecting people who run or walk often or over long distances without the proper footwear. Less frequently, plantar fasciitis can be caused by a single heavy blow to the ligament. This is a common injury amongst novice skydivers. In both cases, tiny tears (called micro tears) appear in the ligament at the site where it attaches to the heel bone.

As athletes, we’re driven by results and continually focused on performance. That unyielding drive to surpass and exceed is immensely rewarding, but it is also incredibly taxing on our bodies. Strenuous activity, injuries, or surgery will cause swelling or “edema” and this can seriously impact performance. To maintain peak efficiency, we need to find ways to minimize recovery time. One of the best ways to do that is with Manual Lymphatic Drainage.

It is important to understand that Lymphatic Drainage is not a detox. The purpose is solely to reduce edema. If you are post-surgery you will require clearance from your doctor before receiving treatment.

A 30-minute duration is recommended for the hands, OR for the head (ears, face, and scalp combination).  A 45-minute duration is best for the feet.

Reflexology is covered under many benefit plans and most health spending accounts. Check with your provider for details.

They are constantly striving to learn and better themselves in their respective fields so that they can help you recover and aid in the maintenance of your well being.

Extensive thought has been put into making our studios modern, comfortable, and convenient for you. We are not a spa. You will not hear trickling water or pan flutes. We will never try to up-sell you on services or push retail on you. Our goal is to simply provide the best therapeutic services you can find in this city. I hope that you will enjoy your experience and come back again soon.

All appointments will begin with a short but in depth one on one assessment. This is your opportunity to point out what area you’d like to work on during your time, as well as identify any special requests or concerns you may have. Should you have more than one area of concern, your therapist will prioritize the chief complaint and create a treatment plan for the time allotted and for follow ups as needed.

Please note our 24 Hour Cancelation Policy.
