If you have issues of general tension or muscle aches and pains, a Thai Massage is the right service for you.
Your Thai Massage appointment may range from 90 minutes to 2 hours including the assessment time. Your treatment will begin with a short one-on-one assessment. This is your opportunity to point out what areas you’d like to work on during your time, as well as identify any special requests or concerns you may have. During your assessment, expect to answer questions regarding your health history including injuries and surgeries, leisure activities, work routines, areas of concern, and pain levels. These questions help the massage therapist align their treatment plan with your specific goals.
Your therapist will utilize: Light, Medium to Deep Pressure Massage Techniques, Acupressure, Stretching, Twisting and Joint Manipulations. The full Thai massage session follows a rhythm of pressing and stretching of the entire body. This is why it can typically take longer than a standard therapeutic massage. The therapist does not use lotions or oils. Further, the treatment takes place on a firm mat on the floor. You will remain clothed for your entire treatment. As such, please wear items that you can move comfortably in.
Make sure to communicate with your therapist throughout your massage. If you are uncomfortable in any way, do not hesitate to let your therapist know.
