Coverage

Maximum Benefits extended health plans may include coverage for Registered Massage Therapy (RMT). Coverage amounts, annual maximums, and eligible practitioner requirements vary by plan. Your RMT receipt from ACM includes your therapist’s registration number, session date, duration, and fee — everything your provider needs to process the claim.

How it works

ACM submits your claim directly to Maximum Benefits at the time of your appointment — you pay nothing out of pocket for the covered portion. To process your claim on the day, make sure your insurance information is entered on your intake form before you arrive.

What to have ready

• Your Maximum Benefits plan number and member ID
• Your relationship to the plan holder (if you’re a dependent)
• Any authorization number your plan requires in advance

We’ll let you know right away and process payment directly. We’ll give you an itemized RMT receipt to submit to Maximum Benefits for manual reimbursement — most plans process these within 5–10 business days.
