About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Manual Osteopath who is enthusiastic about growing professionally. At Athlete’s Choice Massage our mission is to provide a professional therapy experience within a modern atmosphere. Manual Osteopathy is essential to our clients’ goals across all four of our Edmonton-area clinics.

We welcome all clients and offer opportunities to treat a diverse range of presentations — including a strong athlete caseload at the professional, semi-professional, and amateur levels.

Responsibilities

  • Provide educated assessments using a wide scope of osteopathic techniques
  • Utilize a range of trained modalities including mobilization and soft tissue work
  • Recommend treatment plans with homecare suggestions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals on the team
  • Maintain professional standards in client record keeping
  • Provide an exceptional hospitality experience to every client
  • Adhere to the regulatory body’s set of ethics and standards

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Manual Osteopathy from a recognized training facility
  • Valid membership and certification in Alberta
  • Proof of liability insurance
  • Legally permitted to work in Alberta, Canada
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
  • Self-motivated with a passion for sports and rehabilitation
